Can you move across state lines?
Yes, just let us know what you desire. There is an extra charge for that. Can you move my porch that is attached to my trailer? Yes, we will take it loose from your trailer and transport it along with your home. Do your company tear down (prepare for transport) and set up the mobile home? Yes. Our team does all of the tear down and set-up procedures. We will disconnect power and plumbing and gas lines. To re-connect your electricity and plumbing, the state requires a licensed electrician and plumber. Do you remove underpinning Yes, we will remove it. Please be aware that your underpinning becomes brittle over a period of time and usually doesn't stay together during the removal process. We can purchase and re-install your underpinning, but that will be a separate price. This is because we will have to purchase new underpinning. Will you transport my A/C Unit? Disconnect and transport. If it requires a re-connection, a licensed HVAC person will be needed. We will take care as to not disconnect it so it easy to reestablish. Many times we can carefully package it inside your home for transport--without disconnecting anything How long does it take to move a mobile home? These are approximate times. Times may vary:
Do you disconnect and re-connect utilities? We disconnect only. The state of Alabama requires a licensed electrician and plumber for re-connecting your utilities. I don't have my mobile home's wheels any longer. Can you provide tires and axles? Yes, we provide all of that and then some. We always have spares. Do you connect my water and sewer (including septic systems)? No, but we can dig a water line or sewer line, if desired. Do you clean the lot after removing the trailer? No, other than what ever mess we have left behind preparing your mobile home to be moved. Can you make repairs to my trailer prior to moving (in case it's not road worthy)? Repair enough to make it road worthy, will know more about what is needed after our initial inspection. I have a built up roof on my MH, is that a problem? As long as the roof measure no higher than 17 feet it's good to go. Any higher than that then the owner takes will need to remove the roof. Do you remove and re-install tie downs? Yes, all tie-downs will be removed, and then new tie-downs will be used on the setup. If your mobile home uses the PAN system (hurricane tie downs), then those tie-downs can be reused. For Double Wides, do you rejoin and seal the two halves? Yes. We ensure that both sides are matched up, level, and sealed properly. |
